Matt Salvitti is a senior vice president and financial advisor with the Royal Bank of Canada and co-founder of the S&P Wealth Team. Matt started in the financial services industry in 2004 and provides customized financial advice to business owners, entrepreneurs and their families. Having started and run a residential painting business during the entirety of his high school and college years, Matt has a keen appreciation for the entrepreneurial journey and enjoys helping business owners maximize value from their hard work.
In 2021, Matt co-founded the Philadelphia private wealth office for the boutique firm City National Bank (an RBC company), ultimately transitioning the business into the parent company at RBC Wealth Management. Prior to joining RBC, Matt spent over 15 years at J.P. Morgan Chase & Co., covering both institutional and private clients and leading a team with expertise advising business owners and family offices. He began his career at Bear Stearns within the investment bank.
Matt received his Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from Villanova University. He passed the Series 7, 63 and 65 licensing exams, and obtained the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst and Certified Exit Planning Advisor designations. He is also a former board member for Girls on the Run Philadelphia and a current member of the Union League of Philadelphia.
Matt lives in Radnor Township with his wife and four children. He enjoys coaching youth sports, trail running and playing the guitar in his free time (of which there is little).
